The Checkin Timeline report provides a copy of the information found in the Morning handover timeline, for all of you current residents. It can be used to review activity for a resident over a period of time (up to 3 months), or compare how Ally is used in your home for several residents.
Checkin Timeline tab
The Checkin Timeline tab shows the timeline information, with one line for every event, ordered by resident, then the date and time of the event as well as the response information.
The information in this tab :
· Resident and Room : The name of the resident and their room number
· Event Date, Time and Type : The date, time and type of the event. There are 12 event types, which are summarised here.

Activity Alert An alert was triggered by a combination of Sound and Motion activity in the room
Activity Alert becomes Round Due Alert An Activity Alert has not been responded to and the resident’s next scheduled check is due; the Activity alert has become a Scheduled Round Check alert, enforcing staff to check on the resident.
Monitoring Ended When and by whom the monitoring for a resident stopped.
Monitoring Reminder An alert was sent to prompt the staff to check if monitoring could be started for the resident (The frequency of these prompts are defined in the Home Settings page)
Monitoring Started Shows when and by whom the monitoring for a resident started.
Motion Alert An alert was triggered by Motion detected in the room
Motion Alert becomes Round Due Alert A Motion Alert has not been responded to and the resident’s next scheduled check is due; the Activity alert has become a Scheduled Round Check alert, enforcing staff to check on the resident.
Round Due Alert An alert prompting a Scheduled Round check
Scheduled Rounds Enabled When the Ally scheduler was started, initiating round checks and reminders
Scheduled Rounds Ended When the Ally scheduler was stopped, initiating round checks and reminders
Sound Alert An alert was triggered by Sound detected
Sound Alert becomes Round Due Alert A Sound Alert has not been responded to and the resident’s next scheduled check is due; the Activity alert has become a Scheduled Round Check alert, enforcing staff to check on the resident.
· Staff Member This will either be who responded to the Event, or System for automated events. An example of an automated event is stopping monitoring and scheduled rounds at the end of the shift when the Auto Shutoff setting is set.
· Response Time minutes How many minutes it took the member of staff to respond to the event
· Response How an alert was responded to: either with Start Check, Check or Dismissed; or Not Responded To if the Ally Scheduler has ended and an Alert is still active i.e. at the end of the shift.
· Check duration minutes How long the Physical check took to complete
· Care Observations The Care Observation recorded by the staff member includes the Ally Option selected as well as any observation typed in the notes box at the time of the check.

The Information in the CheckIn Timeline Report can be used in a number of ways, here are a few examples of how you may use the report :
