Step 1 - Enable the Integration
The integration will need to be enabled in your Digital Care Record System as well as in the Ally System.
To enable PCS:
NOTE: PCS charge for the integration please ensure your organisation is paying for the integration.
Please follow these instructions and the provide your Ally representative the API key: Enabling Ally Integration in PCS NOTE: This can only be done by a member of staff with an admin account.
Provide your Ally representative with the "Internal API Key" (please note this is different from the Internal ID which is in a similar location in the platform).
Your Ally representative will enable the integration.
Please makes sure all residents First Names and Last Names match in Ally and PCS
To enable KareInn:
Please contact your Ally Representative and they will liaise with Kareinn to enable it.
Please make sure the following data matches in Ally and KareInn
First and Last Name
D.O.B
NHS number
To enable Nourish:
Please contact your Ally representative to enable the Nourish integration in your account.
On Nourish’s knowledge base there is an article titled: “Ally Integration (Acoustic Monitoring)”, please follow these instructions to enable the integration. You can also view the article via this link: Ally Nourish Integration
Note Your Integration Token can be found on Ally only once the Ally representative has enabled the integration. See the screenshot below for token location.
By default, Nourish supports 1 token per Nourish "Service". If you need to use multiple services with a single token, please contact our customer support and make them aware. You will need to create identical Ally "Zones" to match the corresponding Nourish "Services" and our team will enable the matching program to make sure resident updates are routed to the correct Service. *Please note: using 1 token across multiple services without alerting support will result in the Nourish API rejecting the resident updates.
You will need to make sure all residents in Ally have the following information updated on their accounts:
First and Last name
D.O.B
NHS Number
You will need to make sure all Residents in Nourish have the following information updated on their accounts - this information will need to match the information in Ally to ensure automatic syncing:
DOB
NHS Number
Resident Type: ‘Nursing’ or ‘Residential’
Status: Permanent
Step 2 - Sync The Residents and Staff Accounts
Go to the ‘Integrations’ tab and press ‘Sync Now’ this will ensure that the most up to date resident and staff details from the Digital Care Planning System are pulled into the integration.
This will “sync” the Residents and Staff accounts for both Nourish and Kareinn. For PCS you will need to follow the manual sync method below.
Note: you will need to “sync” each newly added resident via this integrations tab
Step 3 - Check all Accounts are Synced and Manually Sync if Not
You can see how many accounts have synced next to “Resident Pairing” or “Staff Pairing. Below you can see only 1 in 8 residents and staff were synced.
The reason accounts may not sync is there may be issues/conflicts where the data on the resident or staff does not match between the systems (i.e. the NHS numbers do not match).
To resolve this please click the + button to expand the list. Here you will see which residents and staff are not synced and you can then manually sync them by pressing “Link Resident” or “Link Staff”.
This will pop up a ‘Suggested Pairing’ box. If the resident is correct please select them and click “yes”. If not please check the residents profiles have the same data in each system. This includes “Name”, “NHS Number”, “Date of Birth” and “Room”. Then repeat the above steps.
Once the sync is fully set up you will see ‘Care Records Synced’ below the account tab on the resident.
