How does the Monitoring system work?

Updated over 2 years ago

The system measures the normal level of sound and motion when Residents are asleep, alerting staff when residents have made extraordinary sound/movement. This may be getting out of bed for the toilet/falling/heaving coughing etc. Based on the resident's settings, this will generate an Audio Alert for review.

The system pairs these alerts with Rounds settings and unscheduled checks to determine when physical checks should be scheduled, optimising the amount of visits a resident has to increase safety and decrease resident disruption.
