When/ how to Start Activity Monitoring:
Start activity monitoring for each resident on completion of their rounds check when they are in bed settling to sleep alone. If you do not want to start activity monitoring for the resident, please remove the tick from the ‘Ready to start monitoring’ box as per below screenshot. NOTE: This option will not be available if the resident has not consented to monitoring.
When/ how to Stop Activity Monitoring:
If you receive activity alerts and can hear the TV/ radio is on or the resident has left the room, when you dismiss the alert, you can select 'Pause monitoring' to switch to rounds only and no longer receive activity alerts.
If you identify that the resident has left the room at any point, you can pause the monitoring without an alert by clicking the 3 dots to the bottom right of the resident and clicking ‘Stop Monitoring’. DO NOT click ‘Deactivate Scheduler’ as this will stop round check reminders and is only appropriate if they leave the home for the night.
