This document details all the resources available to keep the Ally system up to date with residents' and staff accounts.

Ally Setup and Use Policy [PDF] - a downloadable policy template on using the Ally system in your home, with your regular rounds on Ally or not. This should be added to your policies.
Ally Consent Form Package - You must ensure that for all residents, consent and where needed best interest forms have been completed. Residents should only be monitored when consent has been obtained and it's in their best interest. You can download the consent forms via the link.
Ally Care Plan Template - To ensure resident rounds and activity monitoring settings are reviewed on a regular basis, changes to night time rounds frequencies and activity monitoring settings are transparent and reasons for the change are evidenced, we recommend homes using Ally to add Ally use to resident care plans. This could be an addendum to an existing ‘Sleeping’ care plan, or a standalone Ally care plan. You can copy and paste the template care plan via the link.

NOTE:
Please ensure you have a copy of the setup and use policy and have an appropriate policy on longer regular checks when the monitoring is on than off, and whether regular checks are programmed into Ally. See Setup and Use Policy above.
It is important that managers keep the residents and staff accounts up to date to ensure good use of the system.
We recommend having nominated Ally champions whose responsibility each shift is to ensure:
All staff members are logged into the app at the beginning of the shift. This includes Agency staff who will need to login with a generic username and password known only to the Ally champions.
Regularly check the monitoring is enabled for all residents alone in their rooms e.g. check at 10pm after personal care rounds at night
Regularly check the app to ensure All staff are responding to the alerts.
